GRAMMY-winning artist Jennifer Hudson paid tribute to six-time GRAMMY winner Whitney Houston at the 54th Annual GRAMMY Awards on Feb. 12. Hudson performed a heart-warming rendition of "I Will Always Love You." Originally written by fellow GRAMMY winner Dolly Parton, the song netted Houston two awards at the 36th Annual GRAMMY Awards in 1993, including Record Of The Year.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Whitney Houston, who reigned as pop music's queen until her majestic voice and regal image were ravaged by drug use, erratic behavior and a tumultuous marriage to singer Bobby Brown, has died. She was 48.
Publicist Kristen Foster said Saturday that the singer had died, but the cause and the location of her death were unknown.

According to the New York Times, the police responded to reports of gunshots at Cornelius's Sherman Oaks home. They found Cornelius with a gunshot wound to the head that appeared to be self-inflicted, according to the Los Angeles County coroner.
